Bruce Heitler
Bruce Heitler has developed, owned and managed commercial real estate in Denver for over 30 years. He founded The Shomer Company, now Mosaic Property Management in 1998 to bring a seasoned and local perspective to leasing and management activities for a diverse group of owners.
Heitler is a graduate of Yale College and the Yale Law School, and has a Master of City Planning degree from the University of California, Berkeley. For twelve years, he served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Lowry Redevelopment Authority which was responsible for the redevelopment of the former Lowry Air Force Base into the 1,800 acre Lowry Neighborhood.

Jan Lastrella
Jan Lastrella joined Mosaic Property Management as Vice President of Property Operations in 2005. Prior to joining Mosaic, Ms. Lastrella spent over 18 years on-site in various positions advancing from Leasing Agent to the level of Property Supervisor. She has been a licensed real estate broker in the state of Colorado since 1996 and is certified by the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority in LIHTC compliance. Ms. Lastrella holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado and in 2013 earned the designation of Certified Property Manager®. Ms. Lastrella’s time off is spent enjoying activities with her husband and two children or practicing her skills on the tennis court.

Venetia Makshanoff
Venetia Makshanoff started with Mosaic as the property manager for Capitol Heights, a flagship of the Mosaic portfolio. Prior to joining Mosaic Property Management, Venetia managed both multi-family and senior properties and has nearly 20 years property management experience in both California and Colorado, which includes both conventional and LIHTC properties. Recently, Venetia was promoted to the newly formed position of Property Operations Manager where she will supervise multiple communities, conduct in-house training and supervision of our tax credit projects and continue to be the company resource for their property management software. Venetia is an avid golfer, an activity she enjoys frequently with her significant other. She also loves to garden and has a penchant for singing harmony.

Chris Parrish, Sr.
Chris Parrish Sr. has been with Mosaic Property Management for almost fourteen years. He started in the property management business eighteen years ago as a grounds keeper and has also worked as a leasing agent. He came to Mosaic as a lead maintenance technician for the flagship property The Residences at Capitol Heights and has worked his way to the Maintenance Supervisor position where he over sees the day to day operations of multiple properties. When Chris is not working he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Trish Griffith
Trish Griffith joined the Mosaic team in 2014 as a Social Media Consultant and Leasing Agent at Highland Park Apartments and has transitioned to Marketing & Communications Director in 2015. Ms. Griffith has studied Hospitality Management at Temple University and holds a B.A. from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Minor in their AACSB accredited College of Business Program. Trish manages the company’s portfolio marketing and communication needs. She also moonlights part-time as a Public Relations Consultant for her family’s 118 year old business, Griffith Funeral Chapel, Inc. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her friends and family and visiting her hometown of Philadelphia, PA.
